The charity for this year is UNICEF; ‘for every child in danger’. They were established in 1946 and have been protecting and promoting children’s rights for 70 years. UNICEF receive no money from the UN, so rely entirely on charitable donations like ours to fund vital work to protect children, transform their lives and build a safer world for tomorrow’s children. UNICEF get things done and are not going to stop until the world is a safe place for all our children.

Each year group were allocated a lunchtime and competed in their house teams resulting in three different events each day. As you can see from the pictures below, the range of different money making and fun activities was huge. We had face painting, guess the number of balloons in the car, paper airplane targets, sponge throwing, match the baby photos and the sale of sweets, popcorn, chicken, chips, pizza, bacon rolls, ice cream and much more delicious food and drink
