OneSchool is an affiliation of 22 privately registered schools with 175 campuses across 21 countries. Each schooling entity shares the same ethos, values and vision and is registered with the relevant authorities in their state, province or country. OneSchool Global (OSG) supports each of these schools in their common desire to provide a consistent quality of education to over 10,000 students across the globe.

Central to OSG and its network of affiliated schools is the principle of Self-Directed Learning. This learning methodology is delivered primarily between teacher and student, with technology playing a critical role in the delivery of the school’s curricula. To provide a world-class eLearning environment, we must collectively ensure that OSG provides manageable “fit for purpose” solutions that effectively enable learning to our geographically dispersed students and campuses.

Reporting to the OSG Managing Director, the Chief Digital Learning Officer (CDLO) is responsible for designing global and regional digital strategies and collaborating across a range of public and private sector stakeholders. The mainstay of the role will be to ensure that educationalists who deliver learning are both fully knowledgeable and adept at using the technology available to them in the classroom environment. The CDLO will identify areas where technology, structures and day-to-day practices can be refined to establish the right culture for effective eLearning. Furthermore, the CDLO will develop new capabilities for OSG in conjunction with its partners; critique and recommend innovative global and regional technology solutions; identify strategies and oversee the deployment and execution of such strategies globally.

Working closely with the Principal Leadership Team, the CDLO will ensure staff training is appropriate and that the method of delivery is the best strategy for training and implementation. Likewise, the CDLO will work alongside the Chief Information Officer, Global Design Manager and related Project Managers on the investigation and validation of new software to ensure that the educational benefits are accurately presented.
